Guidelines

Rules & Regulations

Read the guidelines carefully before submitting your team application. Standard competition compliance is strictly enforced.

Eligibility & Team Size

Open to university students, professional developers, and tech enthusiasts. Teams must consist of 1 to 4 members (solo entries accepted). Multiple team registrations by a single participant are disqualified.

Original Coding Requirements

All code built during the hackathon must be original and created within the designated coding period. Using pre-built open-source frameworks or components is permitted. Copying complete solutions, using AI to generate entire systems, or submitting previously developed projects are strictly prohibited.

Submission Deliverables

Teams must submit by the deadline: ① Working prototype (demo URL or screenshots). ② Live demo URL (recommended). ③ Short demo video (max 3 minutes). ④ Public GitHub repository (strongly encouraged). ⑤ Presentation slides (recommended).

Intellectual Property

All teams retain full ownership of intellectual property created during the hackathon. Softlexify National Hackathon 2026 (Edition 1) / SoftlexifyZone does not claim ownership of participant ideas, code, or project products. You build it — you own it.

Code of Conduct

We are committed to a safe, inclusive, and professional environment. Harassment, academic dishonesty, plagiarism, or malicious activities will result in immediate disqualification and permanent ban from future events. All participants must treat others with respect.

Judging Criteria

Projects are evaluated by expert judges across five weighted dimensions: Innovation & Originality (25%), Technical Quality & Architecture (25%), UI/UX & Product Design (20%), Presentation & Communication (15%), and Real-World Impact & Feasibility (15%).

AI Tool Policy

AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT for code assistance) are permitted for productivity support. However, all core architectural decisions, system design, and business logic must be your team's own original work. Full AI-generated projects will be disqualified.

Submission Deadline

Thursday, August 6, 2026 — 12:00 AM

Late submissions will not be accepted under any circumstances.
